Exhibitions and workshops
The gaststätte sedlmayr has been hosting exhibitions and workshops since 2012. The current exhibition, “Menschen – Zuerst”, runs until March 2nd. The highlights of the show include a temporary section on the theme of migration, in which Sedlmayr presents objects made by refugee artists from Syria, Eritrea and Lebanon. Since 1926, the gaststätte Sedlmayr Munich has been serving fine Bavarian food in a comfortable pub setting. This year, they’re celebrating their 90th anniversary with a series of exhibitions and workshops.
The first exhibition, “90 Jahre Sedlmayr – Feinschmecker der Großstadt”, features pieces from the restaurant’s archives and showcases some of the most popular dishes over the years. The second exhibition, “Sedlmayr – Traditioneller Münchner Hof” features traditional Bavarian cuisine prepared by the chefs.
